One theme often repeated in my stories is Bondage and Discipline. However, I do not write hardcore S&M stories. Most people ask, “You mean there’s a difference?” Yes there is.
While these are two very different activities, they do have some things in common. They have the same characters. There is a dominant and a submissive. They have the same props, whips, chains, etc.
Beyond that, they become very different. It is not a difference in degree, but a difference in kind, in purpose.
In order to describe the difference, I must first define the words
we are using. Bondage refers to any restriction of movement. In this context it refers to someone being tied up or handcuffed in some way. Discipline refers to someone exercising control over another, in
this case sexually. The phrase "bondage and discipline" refers to fantasy role playing activities whose purpose is to increase the sexual excitement of both partners culminating with sexual
intercourse. Large numbers of couples engage in these mutually exciting and fulfilling activities. They do this to express love and to have sex. The purpose is sex. Pain may or may not be involved.
S&M is the shortened version of sadomasochism, which is a big word that doesn't mean much until it's broken down. It refers to the activities that go on in a relationship between
a sadist and a masochist. A sadist is a person who enjoys inflicting pain. A masochist is a person who enjoys experiencing pain. They make a perfect pair. Unfortunately there are far more sadists in this
world than there are masochists. Sometimes people who are into bondage and discipline like to use limited amounts of pain,
whipping or spanking, etc., because it heightens the sexual excitement for
them. This is not true sadomasochism. True sadomasochism revolves around inflicting and experiencing pain. The purpose is pain. Sex may or may not be involved.
The purpose of my
stories is entertainment. If you enjoy reading them, then I have fulfilled my purpose. Looking for higher ground, I would like to think that at least some couples read my stories together, find them
stimulating, and in turn reach a greater sexual enjoyment of each other. I would like to think that these stories could be the catalyst that causes lovers to communicate better with each other, to share
each others fantasies, and to fulfill each others lives.
Why is the name “emerson fitz” shown with a trademark symbol? Is he dead?
The rumors of my death are greatly exaggerated. If you’ve seen the V.C. Andrews series of books, you will notice V.C. Andrews is trademarked. V.C. is dead, and the heirs to that estate hire other writers
to write new books under that name. In my case the situation is a little different. Certain theives (call it what it is) created web pages titled “emerson fitz” containing “emerson fitz” in the meta
tags, even having “emerson-fitz” embedded as part of the URL. This trickery caused these pages to pop up on various search engines when people searched for “emerson fitz.” These pages were nothing but
redirects to a series of advertisments. These thieves were “stealing” visitors that were looking for my site by name! I had to trademark my name to make this type of theft illegal.
What are “Stories That Defy Categories?”
There are some stories that you simply cannot place a label on. Some sites have even gone so far as to label them with codes, MF, FF, MFF, etc. While this may be fine for run of the mill sex fantasies, I
try to add a little more to my work. Often my stories may have a surprise twist that would be given away if categorized somehow. “Stories That Defy Categories” are often some of my best work.
Will you write a story with really young characters?
No. If you mean younger that 18, hell no. This is not a democracy. I and I alone decide what stories to write. There will be no child porn here. The reason is simple. I love children. I'm not going to do
anything to help fuel the imagination of someone who might abuse a child.
Will you write incest stories?
No. The reason is the same as above. Sure, it's possible to write incest stories in which all of the characters are adults, However, most real life cases of incest involve the abuse of a child. Sorry,
it's not going to happen here.
Will you write stories of forced sex?
All stories involve activities between consenting adults. Now some couples like to play out the fantasy of "being forced." If this makes it's way into my stories, it will be in the context of a
loving couple willingly engaging in the fantasy.
Will you write a story of someone being captured and tortured?
No. See above.
Will you write a story that I request?
Maybe. I read and do take seriously all comments and requests. I write one new story each week. I get more than one request each week. Obviously I can't do them all, but if you have a request that hasn't
already been shot down by the questions above, by all means send it in.
Do you chat?
No. I don't have enough time in my life to spend talking with the people I love, that are already an important part of my life. Running this site is about all I can do.
Would you be interested in having sex with me, or my wife, or etc?
No. I'm not available. Even if you're Madonna, the answer is still no. If you're Kate Winslet, the answer is no, but God Help Me.
Would you be interested in having phone sex?
No. Tried it once. Didn't like it. It was an old GTE phone with real bells for a ringer. It made a nice vibration when you made it ring but other than that it didn't do much for me. On a serious note,
talking sexy with a stranger doesn't do it for me. Calling my lover and telling them what I would like to be doing to them at that moment is a little different.
